The adidas Consortium City Series is Adidas adilette sandals back with round three this time collaboration with Paris' Colette, London's Crooked Tongues, Toronto's Livestock and Tokyo's VA. Just this past November we saw the adidas Consortium  City Series 2 with Norse Projects, SlamJam, DQM and SNS. As with the previous series each city designed a sneaker named after their respective city with colors favored by the collaborator. The blue heeltab is accompanied by the recognisable wordless Colette logo on the rear, and more conventional gold lettering reveals both collaborator and shoe name. Red and blue top metal eyelets reinforce the colour picks, while the innocuous looking white mid and outsole conceals the final surprise  a transparent section of hexagons, Adidas adilette cloudfoam that reveals a matching pattern beneath. More Gallic flair that rewards close inspection without alienating those adverse to excess fuss.City Series pieces like the adidas London have a place in the Brit shoe-psyche, and with such a bare-bones, slender and simple design  unlined Adidas adilette women's red suede with leather 3-Stripes, blank heel and lacestays, there's a sense that the shoe's purpose is lost if it gets too fussy or bolstered.

Adidas Originals Consortium collaboration brings you their newest addition to the City Series. Four different sneakers designed by four different city boutiques from around the world. Collaborations include: UNDFTD x L.A. , Sole Service x Oslo , Solebox x Berlin , Bodega x Boston . All four styles should be available at select Adidas Originals Consortium retailers such as DQM , as well as their respective boutiques later Adidas adiprene this month.

A chunky white Boost midsole and a triple-tone gum outsole then complete the look. The shoe also arrives with a trifecta of lace options so that the wearer can accent to their heart's content. We're a bit surprised that a performance basketball model like the adidas Crazy Explosive Low is included in this coming "Day One" Pack, but we're definitely feeling the overall overhaul thanks to the ever-comfortable Boost midsole unit paired with sand-colored suede, smoky TPU heel overlays, and an asymmetrical forefoot for a clean look. Each adidas Consortium Crazy Explosive Low will be available on Wednesday, April 12th from select shops like Packer Shoes and on .

The classic DNA of both shoes is clearly intact on the revamped designs, but modern-day touches on each Adidas adissage gives them a pop of unique flair: the re-worked Falcon features a high sock style collar and a Primeknit upper, while the usual lace system is replaced by a minimal toggle variation. The modernized SS2g already a redone version of the classic adidas Superstar  features the same toggle lacing system, a stripped-back design where suede overlays and a neoprene tongue cover an off-white mesh upper while bright yellow stitching arrives around the toe cap. Both arrive in a clean combination of white, navy blue, and yellow, and are set to release at authorized Three Stripes stockists August 8th.
