Asics Gel Lytespeed x Patta Parra / Eric Elms / Delta Jan 13, 2009 Patta is celebrating their 5th anniversary and will be continuing the trend amongst sneaker companies of releasing special celebratory collections. A collaboration has been made between Patta and Asics on the Gel Lytespeed runner model and the pack will consist of three sneakers. Three colorways are involved including purple/blue, red/orange/yellow/blue and black/white. The uppers asics womens running shoes are composed of mostly nubuck material and are said to have been inspired from several sweater patterns from Patta. This design can be seen most notably on the insole of the sneakers. The pack is set to release January 31st.

Featured in the collection are the Gel Lyte asics gel nimbus Speed, GT Quick and GT II, as well as the split tongue Gel Lyte III. Not only are the colorways unique, Asics has stepped up their game by adding festive multi-colored matching laces to their designs. Another pleasant feature is multi-colored logos on the shoes. Colorways make use of bright spring colors including black/teal, white, orange, yellow,black, pink and blue. Look out for more from Asics in the near future.

Sold Out x Asics Gel Lytte II Nov 30, 2008 Lately, the Asics collaborations that we ve mentioned have for the most part dealt with the asics gel lyte Gel Lyte III model, but one of their next projects will focus on the Gel Lyte II model. This time around the collaboration is with Berlin-based Solebox. They are part of the Collette The MJC=Sold Out project, and are scheduled to hit stores on Saturday, Decmber 20, 2008. They also come with a special Sold Out x Asics matching scarf. This release will be extremely limited to 100 pairs with 76 pairs hitting collete, 12 pairs available at Patta Amsterdam and Berlin s Solebox to receive the other 12 pairs.

The latest is with David Z s Ronnie Fieg, who has design what is now their 7th collaboration. The Gel Lyte III is the model of choice, and sports an upper embellished with pig skin, patent leather, and suede. They are rare as only 200 pairs are available worldwide, and were recently released to the David Z. Flagship store on Friday, October 3, 2008. Getting you hands on a asics gel pair will be difficult, but maybe you ll be lucky.

Mita Sneakers / Asics Gel Lyte III Edo Murasaki Aug 8, 2008 Here we feature detailed pictures of the Edo Murasaki, which is the second pair of shoes in the Kirimomi Project. They feature a more interesting design, as they make much more use of patent leather in a black and purple colorway. Also, they feature a polka-dot design which runs throughout the upper, along with a large amount of perforations which act as a system of ventilation. They are also available now at select retailers including Atmos and DQM.
